To get inspiration today I pulled a card from, Tree Wisdom Cards by Lisa McLoughlin Art. Regeneration was the card that chose me (flew out of the deck when I shuffled).

I love trees. Trees and bodies of water, rivers, streams, lakes, oceans; the best ever.

The card was so appropriate. I had just told my husband I needed a break. From what? He said. I could tell from the look on his face that he thought I meant from our marriage (he immediately goes there in his brain because of his past experience). I didn’t mean that. To answer his question I said, From responsibility. I need a spa day and a night at a hotel, away from the house. Because if I’m here I won’t relax. There’s always something that needs to be done. He looked relieved and kindly said, Whatever you need.

He then asked, Why now? Great question. I had meant to reward myself after nursing him through a double knee replacement and complications. To finally relax when he was OK. That was 2 years ago. I didn’t do it. Just recently I’ve been feeling resentful. During meditation I asked my Inner Voice what it was I needed to hear. Crickets.

So, I went to my office to write my blog and selected the Tree Wisdom Cards for inspiration. And there it was popping out of the shuffle. Regeneration. My answer. The Universe is so smart.

I will take a spa day and a night at a hotel, this coming week. I am so thankful for my husband, for the always intelligent Universe, and for all the wonderful people I’ve connected with. You rock! I’m getting’ my mojo back, Yay!!!
